Here’s a chance to get some exercise, meet some new Rincon Hill and nearby neighbors, and to help give back to the neighborhood all in one sweep, so-to-speak. The Bryant Bay Bridge Corridor Adopt-A-Street Group is looking for neighbors who can volunteer their time to help keep our streets clean of litter, walls clear of grafitti, and just keep an eye out for blight in general.
You can learn more about the group on pages 1-2 and sign up to join the group on page 3 by downloading this flyer (PDF file).
The next event that you’re invited to join is on September 12th from 9am until 11:30am at the location of our neighborhood’s future dog run park and plaza – NW corner of Beale and Bryant Streets. Please feel free to bring your dog to run around free (as long as he or she behaves) in the lot while volunteers are cleaning it up.
Where? Beale and Bryant Streets
When? Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
What? Read this flyer for more information and fill out page 3 to bring with you or to mail to DPW if you can’t make this clean and green sweep event.
Let’s show San Francisco that Rincon Hill residents want to be and can be good stewards of the public spaces in our neighborhood. Please join me and other neighbors on Saturday, September 12th at Beale and Bryant at 9:00 a.m.
