NERT Activities – Loma Prieta 20th Anniversary Drill Planning

The following meeting listings for NERTs are from our friend Gary, co-captain of the South Beach NERT volunteer group. NERT stands for Neighborhood Emergency Response Team, and you can become a NERT by completing the free training provided at various locations (see the web site for current schedule) by the San Francisco Fire Department that will teach you how to get prepared for a disaster (like an earthquake) and provide some basic training on what to do immediately after an earthquake.  I highly recommend the training!
